The Story God Wrote For Me

April 9, 2019 The kids and I were walking today when I spotted a 5 ft black snake head raised, slithing toward the pavilion. I grabbed Elia, watched it, walked around and continued my walk with my kids. I warned others of the possible danger but didnt think about it again. A year ago, I would've screamed, ran inside and got my trusty shotgun and blew it to smithereens. However after living in "nature" environments for the last couple of months, the rangers don't take kindly to an imposter  Ella Mae Clampitt shooting their protected critters, so I had to conquer my fear. Spiritually, we should be no different. As we grow in our walk with God, we should conquer our fears, trust God, and continue on our path. We should warn others of learned snares/dangers along the path. Satan would love to freeze you in fear. Watch out for his snares, open your eyes to your surroundings so that when a snare comes, you can see it, walk around it and continue on your walk with Go...

It is amazing what having Jesus in your life can do. You can have hope, reassurance, peace, love and security. I can't imagine how a person can walk in this world with Jesus. With that being said, here goes my story. I had a beautiful flower. I watered it, trimmed it, moved it into the sun multiple times but it would not bloom. The last two times I have gone home and came back, guess what? Beautiful welcome back, bright red blooms. I guess I was pushing what I wanted on this flower and not allowing it to bloom and giving it what it needed ,to be left alone so it could grow. March 18, 2019 When you feel like the boat you are in is sinking, you can do 2 things. 1. Sink, hold on to a drowning ship, and watch your feet go under water 2. Go fix the problem, build back up the damaged part/hold on and look towards Jesus The devil would love for you to do the first. He is the ultimate destroyer in this spiritual game of battleship. He knows your weaknesses and He will attack you at your weakest. He knows what to throw at you to make you want to say I can't handle it anymore. And that is when you gotta hold on. The moment that seems like your greatest defeat, will deliver you to the mighty victory. No victory is won in the middle of peace. Victories are won in turmoil. At the age of 14ish, I started a Christian school after being homeschooled for 5 years. I was taken out of school and homeschooled because a random incurable disease called morphea showed up randomly at that time in my life. The kids treated me different because of it and stress made it spread. When I first started school I met some girls that would wind up being my best friends throughout high school. They didnt care about my skin or how i looked, they were great friends. Ab out 2.5 years ago, a girl with green and blue hair walked into a Baptist church. Most of the church didnt know anything about her. She did get some looks but hey she had weird hair, you know  :)  But many in the church said hi and were friendly. The Pastor and his wife even took her family out to lunch after service. Their kindness meant more than they knew. She had just been told earlier that month she couldn't carry her child full term because it could kill her and the baby. The church rallied around...

A train can't go without coal or energy to make it move. What is the job of a train? Besides steam- and diesel-powered locomotives, manytrains operate solely on electrical power. They get the electricity from a third rail, or electrical line, along the track. The train works as a whole otherwise it is just a boxcar. A boxcar has to  be linked to another boxcar to go down the tracks. A loose car can derail off the track or just stop altogether. Christians, we need to bind together in Jesus name (whole train). We need prayer and unity, not division and individuals going off alone. Many times on the road we come to a red light. We have the choice to stop, rest and then go straight, right or left. The one thing we can't do is go backwards. One because it is illegal and could end up disastrous. Second because it can cause chaos. Spiritually, on our path. Sometimes we need to stop, rest and wait on the Lord to direct our destination. The rest time might seem long and useless but He has a time and purpose for that season. Every season in our walk with Jesus  is an amazing opportunity to learn from Jesus. The best and greatest teacher in the universe is willing to teach me something! How awesome is that? Sometimes looking backwards at our path can be disastrous. Dont disaapear into the world like Lot's wife. I've lost weight so I need clothes that fit. Hence my shopping trip pre cruise a few months ago. Oh I was happy happy happy I could wear my pre kid size again. I go to a store, my eyes says oh look a clearance rack, and away I go. I walk up to my size, look at the cute clothes and someone walks up beside me. I glance over to see a 12yr old beside me. Then it hit me, weirdo go away. Old lady alert in jr section. My mind thinks I am 17yrs old but im lying to myself. So in utter dismay I walked away in sadness but come on what 36 yr old with 4 kids needs to shop in jr clothes? Me until my eyes were open to how absurd it was at that time. Spiritual what are you still doing that you need to wake up and say nope 20 years has passed I should be way farther in my walk with Jesus.
