I shared my testimony in front of alot of people for the first time in my life on April 28th at New Song Community Church in Andalusia, AL......I am praying for more opportunities to continue sharing it!

Niger Africa Update - March 18, 2010

Greetings :) March 18 2010 - Well I have felt God's hand gently guiding me more this past month than ever before. I showed Mike last night everyone I had emailed about volunteering to go to Niger in November and December of last year. I sent out 34 individual emails, these did not include online requests or emails to missionary organizations. I had 62 rejection emails from November to December of 2009. Here is a brief catch up time line :) Later December of 2009 - I found out that SIM would not send me unless Mike was deployed...by that time, I was discouraged, depressed and feeling as if perhaps I should just give up. January 17th, 2010 - I laid all my anger, resentment and hurt out to God during a church altar call. After I got up from the altar, a Pastor confirmed that God was hearing my prayers. R emember Stacey Remember........... Every having the feeling of just trying to survive? No, well then you are above perfection. When we are going through the trials of this life is when God is striving us to become more like him and less like us. Each day is a learning day. Each trial is the chance to become shiner or duller in our afflictions. Each affliction is a chance see what we are trying made of and who is really in control of our life. We have the chance to learn something about ourselves that we didn't know existed. We have a chance to see just how far we can stretch our limits without breaking ourselves. And when we are stretched to our limits in when we can see just how much further we can go with God's help. Life isn't about just being happy for ourselves. Life is about showing others how much God is Lord of our life, how much we can love others despite their imperfections and how we can worship and love the Lord despite what we are given to deal with in this l...

No Dead Ends - August 18, 2020

Last week a beautiful woman of God spoke about there are no dead ends. Today I was driving and saw this dead end road, with land for sale at the end and  I remember what she said. And then more hit me. This was someone's land, at one time it was wanted, nourished and tended. They desired it for a season, then grew tired of it and are trying to sell it. Don't quit tending your promised land. So many times God may tell us to do something but we don't because we are afraid or worried about what others may say but there are no dead ends only the promised land in front of us. Don't grow weary of tending your ministry or path God has given you, don't neglect what God has called you to do, don't sell out when you are tired or worn down. Gird yourself up, and RUN towards your promised land. God is your strength! If you don't take care of it, someone else will come in to claim it.  Someone saw money when looking at this land. Me?
