Survivor #1

So many of us go from the day to day routine and are on auto pilot until something happens in our robotic routine that makes us stop and question. I am a Christian why does bad things happen to me, to my child, to my family? We just try to survive that season of our life but we arent living. But what is surviving?
A survivor is (according to google):
1. a person who survives, especially a person remaining alive after an event in which others have died.
2."the sole survivor of the massacre"
3.the remainder of a group of people or things.
4."a survivor from last year's team"
5. a person who copes well with difficulties in their life.
Christians you better get to praying because if America doesnt turn back to God, we will be number 3.
Cancer survivors go through hell. There are ups of thankfulness and excited followed usually by lows filled with despair and hopelessness. But all cancer survivors have two thing in common, do yall know what that is? Life & Scars
Scars to show the numerous ivs of chemo, radiation burns, ports, or surgeries they have had to take to get that evil disease out of their bodies. At the end of it, when they finish and are cancer free they are called survivors. And they rejoice and live life! Survived evil and won.Does this remind you of anyone?
Jesus is THE ultimate survivor. He survived the hate of the enemy, the torment of the ones who waited for and studied Him but yet were so blind by religionious (stacey word) emotion that they missed the one who came to save them. Jesus went to the cross, was beaten, pierced with nails and a spear, and at the end He saved the world. It wasnt easy, it was torment, they killed Him they thought but He survived and guess what he still to this day has the scars to prove it.
Jesus showed His scars when He first came back to his disciples. To cancel doubt and show He survived! Do NOT be ashamed of your spiritual scars, they show the Devil you survived with Jesus' help. Look at what you have overcame and share your testimony. Someone else is out there struggling and they need a scarred person to show them they can survive too. Stop acting perfect. The only perfect one is Jesus!
2 Corinthians 1:3-7 KJV
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; [4] Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. [5] For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. [6] And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. [7] And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation
