8/16/19 - The run

Last night I played Shark Evolution on my firestick, ate a whole sleeve of Oreos with milk and enjoyed my fat kid life.

This am I felt bad, had no energy and my bloated belly hated my late night oreo choice.

Tonight I thought of a Freddie Kruger alligator chasing me or a giant anaconda and I went for a night run without the kids (Mike had them). I turned on FTF album and I ran my heart out for the first 0.3 mile....then i felt like laying the grass and passing out. I didn't though I just walked till my side wasn't screaming at me and then I sprinted again. I sprinted .10 of a mile and walked 0.10 of a mile. It was disappointing but I should've expected immediate results without putting in the practice. I will get faster but I have to work up to it.

Spiritually, why do Christians expect the harvest without first plowing the field? You cant have an abundant harvest if you don't take the time to tend to the field. You cant plant seed where you haven't dug. You can't grow plants with weeds choking them out. You can expect immediate harvest if you don't put in the work. The Holy Spirit will grow and water but you have to get off your spiritual pew and share the gospel. A Christian's life doesn't end when someone gets saved, it is just the beginning. What are you doing to share Jesus? I challenge everyone to share Jesus with someone this week. You don't have to be a preacher, or have know everything. You just need to know what Jesus did for you. Go share. Each day is a new day, you may have made bad choices today  but Jesus forgives when we repent and ask forgiveness. Lord willing, Tomorrow is a new day, live for Jesus :)
