The Receiver - 9/9/19

Today I was blessed to be able to help a little with an amazing outreach.

To the person that receives this box:

I closed my eyes and I packed this box like I would use it and I thought of you. Every supply, I imagined you using on a brokenhearted and hurt person. Every pair of gloves that you pull on, every alcohol swap you clean wounds with, every piece of gauze you use, every abd pad that you place on, every bandage that you use to cover cuts and sores, every ace wrap, and for every child and for every person that needs more but thats all you have at that moment, I thought of you and I prayed for you.

I prayed God would give you strength for everything you must do.
I prayed God would give you endurance when you are tired but others still need your help.
I prayed for wisdom when you need to make hard choices.
I prayed for compassion to hug the crying mother who is exhausted emotional but has a child that needs her to be strong.
I prayed God would give you peace when everything is overwhelming.

And my dear friend, I prayed if you don't know God that He would reveal himself to you.

If I could be there with you,  I would be in a second.

But today, I packed supplies and I thought of you and I prayed and God will do more for you than I ever can.

No matter what the news says, we know you need help. You aren't forgotten. There is an amazing group of people gathering supplies and a Christian man flying supplies every single day and they prayed for you today too.

Tomorrow is a new day and tomorrow you will have food and supplies because God is still God in every situation and He called some people to help you.

 Today, we thought of you.
