6/14/19 - The Counterfeit

The laundrymat is an interesting place. You meet all sorts of people. They are always rushing in or out or they sit totally bored for an hr until their clothes are done. This new place we are at is even more interesting. It doesn't use quarters but tokens. You pay $10 and get enough to wash 3 loads of clothes and 3 loads in the dryer. You dont get to set the time on the dryer so you just have to wait and see if your clothes are too hot or still wet. There are signs saying don't use counterfeit coins because it is a crime to steal.  So let's look at this from a Christian perspective.

In this world, you have many people trying to sell you something. Some are selling things that aren't good and will break in a few days, weeks or months. And others sell things that will last but it costs more. Some items look the same but are different names so you will buy the cheaper items. Satan is a counterfeit. Who loves to disguise sinful temptations as genuine and real. You fall prey to them and then find out they were only built with one design, failure. Satan wants to see you fall, fail and self destruct. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. Do you know the difference between real and fake? The real is meant to last. Jesus will last. A good foundation will make a house last forever. A bad foundation causes cracks in the walls, leaks and crumbling. What is your foundation made out of? Real or fake? If your life is crumbling apart, you have been tricked. If you feel insecure or confused, you have been tricked. The word of God doesn't change and God is the same yesterday, today and forever. People try to change what the Bible says to fit their sinful lifestyles but let me tell you. God will NOT change. Seasons come and go but God is still God through all the seasons. Just like the real quarters let you see how long your dryer will run, the tokens just take your clothes till they get too hot or still wet. Satan will take you on a ride, you never know when it will be over but you will end up burning in hell if you dont have Jesus. Jesus is security, Jesus is stability and Jesus is hope. Why tango with the devil on Saturday night when you could waltz with Jesus daily? He loves you and cares for you. Seek Him while He may be found before you wake up in the lake of fire(Hell) forever.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; [38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one ; [39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. [40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. [41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; [42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
